The programme of events Festino Palermo Mon Amour returns in its autumn version, to accompany the closing of the Palermo Mon Amour exhibition extended until Sunday 8 October.

The programme

TUESDAY 3 OCTOBER 2023 at 7.00 pm: launch of the book ENIGMA PALERMO – La politica, la paura, il futuro. Storia di una città e del suo sindaco (History of a city and its mayor) by Leoluca Orlando and Constanze Reuscher to be published on 26 September 2023 by Rizzoli.
The deputy editor of La Stampa Andrea Malaguti talks with the authors to retrace the story of Leoluca Orlando and the city of Palermo, providing a lucid and critical reflection on the current political and social situation.
The event is organised in collaboration with Rizzoli.

WEDNESDAY 4 OCTOBER 2023 the creative writing workshop Palermo Mon Amour in words will be held from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00. Conducted by journalist and writer Eleonora Lombardo and free of charge, the workshop builds a true sentimental glossary to navigate through the words of Palermo, through the texts of writers who have observed and described its imagery such as Alessandro Calabrese, Fulvio Abbate, Giuliana Saladino, Giorgio Vasta, Davide Enia, Ciprì and Maresco and Emma Dante.

THURSDAY 5 OCTOBER 2023 at 7 p.m. the jurist and president emeritus of the Constitutional Court Gustavo Zagrebelsky and Rosario Di Gioia, judge of the G.I.P. Section of the Court of Palermo, explore issues related to the concepts of legality and cultural heritage.
