On Saturday 25 September, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Fondazione Merz will be hosting a bookbinding workshop to create an original hand-sewn book by the Associazione AMALIA and the Fondazione Merz Education Department.
The workshop is suitable for ages 13 and up; a green pass will be required.
In the context of Community Libraries del XXI secolo a Torino for the Biblioteca Diffusa a Pozzo Strada activity, a project supported by the Contemporary Creativity Directorate of MiBACT, Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism – as part of the call for Cultura Futuro Urbano – Biblioteca casa di quartiere proposals, promoted by Turin’s civic libraries in collaboration with Cascina Roccafranca, Circoscrizione 3, Fondazione Merz and TorinoReteLibri – the Education Department of Fondazione Merz in collaboration with Associazione AMALIA proposes a workshop dedicated to books.
AMALIA is a non-profit association set up in 2018 to pursue a dual purpose: to promote knowledge of the local archival and book heritage and to contribute to its protection and promotion.
