The collective installation Grandi Frutti is the result of one of the cycles of Interconnesioni materiali, a workshop programme curated by the Foundation’s Education Department in collaboration with a group of people from the Borgo San Paolo neighbourhood. Since May 2025, the group has been meeting regularly in the neighbourhood, using crochet as a sculptural technique.

The event is part of the programme of Open Patti, an initiative created and organised by the City of Turin to present and raise awareness among citizens of the collaboration agreements (Patti di collaborazione): projects through which local residents take care of, manage and enhance a wide range of common goods and shared spaces throughout the city of Turin.

Open Patti is itself part of the Biennale della Prossimità, a programme developed through the shared work of the Turin Local Committee, the Community of Practice and the national promoters, dedicated to the culture of proximity.
