SOCIETAS/ROMEO CASTELLUCCI > IL TERZO REICH

A frantic stream of words taken from the dictionary. Some of them remain imprinted in the visual cortex; some others – the majority – are lost. Before the projection, created by Romeo Castellucci, a ceremonial to “switch on” the language. The sound track has been composed by Scott Gibbons.

SERGI CASERO NIETO > EL PACTO DEL OLVIDO
31 October 2023 and 1 November 2023 at 9 pm., Fondazione Merz

Why should we forget Spanish Civil War and Francoism? How can we explain what Francoism was to new generations, born after dictatorship? Sergi Casero Nieto’s effort is to do that, re-calling his family memories and combining them with his researches, documents, stories; and trying to go further the amnesty granted in 1977.
